I brought out an antique pitcher. Starched my vintage Valentine hankies and stuffed them gently inside. Don't they look whimsical?
I purchased this cute Cupid's Best Love Potion #99 decor at my local antique mall. I just thought it was well done, whimsical and the price was right.
I thought that I would make fun hang tags for my snowflake twig tree. They could share the space with the snowflakes since it's cold here during Valentine's. I downloaded graphics from The Graphics Fairy and made these cute two sided tags by printing onto old book pages.
They say things that I love. Such as Hope, My Kids, Family, My Hubby, Antiques, Joy, Love, Pedicures, Thrift Stores, Painting, God, Blogging and Garage Sales. I then took my scalloped punch, punched them out and put them back to back with a ribbon in-between. They look like this on the twig tree. Super easy if you are good with manipulating graphics on your computer.
Then I decided to go through my collection of antique postcards. I found one that I really liked but wouldn't mind making over. I used old songbook pages, lace, ribbon, glitter and a little bling and combined them all to come up with this.
Lastly, I took a picture of this rose hanging in my laundry room...just for you!
