New House Tour ~ Dining Rooms

Continuing on with our New House Tour, I will remind you that this home was staged for a fund raising tour by designers and furniture stores. A fee was charged to tour the beautiful home and the money went to The Advocacy Network for Children.  So remember, this is a staged home...NOT THE HOMEOWNERS FURNISHINGS OR DECOR.  You will see price tags and some things out of place, because I was there while it was being staged.



Knowing this, please focus on the finishes and house design. I will be featuring each room over the next several blogs because this home is HUGE and I just can't give you a quality tour without separating the rooms.



Let's continue on the tour with the Formal and Breakfast Dining Areas.

Formal Dining off foyer by the front door. I don't know why the designer for this room didn't choose more formal dining room furniture, nor was it decorated well, but you can see the features of this room. Alcove for a buffet, twin pillars in the entryway and built-in display shelving.

Entering the foyer, you can look up and see the huge chandelier and loft area.

Looking from foyer down the arched ceiling hallway. Stairway leads up and down, doorway at right to the kitchen, door at end of hall is a full bath, the the hall 'T's off, left leads to second bedroom, laundry and master suite. Right leads to breakfast room, deck, kitchen and living room.

This is the breakfast room off the kitchen at the back of the house facing lake. The walls are painted an orange-red. Sorry about the picture, no window treatments yet, sun pouring in.

Designers staged with this wine rack but it is not needed because a wine storage area is built-in in the kitchen.
