My current client's



Great Room





is coming along nicely so I thought I would share what I have done so far.



Upon my first visit, there was only one thing in the room...a new leather sectional. Oh, and a ton of baby gear.  This is all I had to go on...

So the first thing that I did was go shopping! Yeah...fun, fun, spending someone else's money!

I found a large wool rug at Sam's Club for an amazing price.

I found a fan back paisley Flexsteel recliner and a round, glass topped coffee table at my favorite furniture store. Since they have a little baby, I thought it best to have the round coffee table for when he starts to pull up...no sharp edges.

I also found the cool metal tree sculptures and the awesome arched floor lamp with a drum shade at the same furniture store.

Then, I made two red pillows (Hobby Lobby fabric)...

 And one zebra pillow.

And then I found the two bookcases and staged them on each side of the fireplace.

So what is left? They still need side tables. They are on order.  I have left plenty of room for baby gear and toys.

There still can be things to warm up the space more. It's a work in progress. So far, I like how it looks and feels. Also, how easy it is for them to live in this space with a baby and teens.
