I found another old header that was completely intact!
And I fell in love.
Here it is after I had my young and cute, handy dandy handyman put trim on the bottom and sides to hide the construction. A lot of people would have left it as is, but I wanted to refine it a bit.
Next, I added a saying that truly is how I feel about my married life...
Then, up on the wall above my shutter headboard!
